Responding to President.am‘s question if Kocharyan had moral right to speak about sale ofVorotan, taking into consideration that a number of strategically important objects were sold during his reign and signed “Debt-for-Equity” shameful agreement ,-he replied. “Anyone can say anything, but Kocharyan should remember that all processes started during his reign.the sale of the most important objects with all rights,distribution network extradited to Russia,even communication channels.I mean the monopoly situation of “ArmenTel” and so on. ”
According to MP it is very good that Kocharyan review and recall that it’s like that, but it would be good to remember other things. Since from Brandy Factory, copper complex,ending from distribution network given the Russians literally with a monopoly status.I would remind the deal with Gazprom (80%) coming from that time too. As aresult of his policies Armenia appeared under the total control of the monopoly.In fact, since from Robert Kocharyan’s time till present daysour economy brought to a situation thatforeign organizations, in this case russian organizations, ( no matter that they are different) got apportunity to control our economy, including increased prices by monopolistic situation.I condemn today’s process connected with distribution network that taking place and the violence against protesters.This is just give oppotunity to the distribution networks make fully and independently decisions,-mentioned Kokobelyan.According to him, it certainly does not mean that they had right to sell the remaining 20 percent of ARG during the reign of Serzh Sargsyan.
